TumbleFIT Programming

We specialize in fine-tuning tumbling, leaps, jumps, and acrobatics for every student and also those interested in gymnastics, cheer, sport, and dance by building a foundation in strength, agility, mobility, flexibility and body awareness.

TumbleFIT is a gymnastics tumbling program that is designed for active kids from ages 18 mo to 18 yrs. It focuses on overall mental and physical development including physical strength, flexibility, mobility/movement, & body awareness. Each class will cover the how’s and why’s to proper form and technique by following USA Gymnastics progressions safety guidelines. Through progressive drills designed to develop proper form and technique each tumbler will achieve personal goals. This program is foundational to any sport.

TumbleFIT Preschool

(ages 3-5) This class has no prerequisites and is geared towards athletes with little to no previous tumbling experience. Athletes in this class will learn:

-Basic Body Control

-Basic Strength Exercises

-Basic Flexibility Exercises

-Handstands

-Forward Rolls

-Backward Rolls

-Cartwheels

-(Possibly) Bridges and Kick-overs

-(Possibly) Back and Front-limbers

TumblingTutus

(ages 3-5) This class is to explore movements and disciplines in both ballet and gymnastics. 30 minutes focused on ballet and 30 minutes focused on tumbling.

 
 
 

TumbleLeap

(speciality class)

An acrobatic approach to tumbling using ballet and/or cheer inspired moves, leaps and technique.

 
 

TumbleFit 1

(ages 5-7) This class is the same as Pre-TumbleFIT only for ages 5-7. It has no prerequisites and is geared towards athletes with little to no previous tumbling experience.

(ages 6-12) This class has no prerequisites and is geared towards athletes with little to no previous tumbling experience. Athletes in Beginning class will learn:

-Handstands/Handstand Forward Rolls

-Backward Pike Rolls

-Cartwheels

-Bridge Kick Overs

-Backbend Kick Overs

-Back Walkovers

-Front Walkovers

-Cartwheels/Round-offs

-Beginning Technique for Back Handsprings

 

TumbleFIT 2

(ages 7-12) To participate in TumbleFIT2, athletes must have mastered most of the skills being taught in TumbleFIT1, and will learn:

-Handstand Walks

-Back Extension Rolls

-Front and Back Walkovers

-Standing Back Handsprings

-Round-off Back Handspring

-Round-off multiple Back Handsprings

-Back Walkover Back Handspring

-Front Walkover/Front Handspring Step-out Round-off Back Handspring

 

TumbleFIT 2/3

(ages 7-18) To participate in TumbleFIT 2/3, athletes must have mastered all the skills being taught in the TumbleFIT 2 class, and will learn:

-Perfect above skills

-Standing Multiple Back Handsprings

-Standing Tucks

-Punch Front Tucks

-Aerials

 

TumbleFIT 3

(ages 7-18) To participate in TumbleFIT 3 athletes must have mastered all the skills being taught in all previous classes, and will learn:

-Round Off Back Handspring Layout

-Standing Tuck

-Standing Back Handspring Tuck

-Jump Back Handspring Tuck

-Punch Front through to Layout

-Standing Back Handspring(s) to Layout

-Round Off Back Handspring Full Twisting Layout

-Toe Touch(es) Tuck

-Standing Back Handspring(s) to Full Twisting Layout

-Round Off Back Handspring Double Full Twisting Layout

-Standing Back Handspring(s) to Double Full Twisting Layout

-Various specialty passes through to Full/Double Twisting Layout
