Youth Sports Performance Summer Camps
Youth Sports Performance : Speed and Agility for Middle School
These camps are designed for the Middle School athlete. The program Phases are designed to establish a foundation and build upon it each phase. The program s overall focus is upon improving, Running and agility mechanics. As well as, strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, and power. The program is designed upon the NSCA Nation Strength and Conditioning Associations practices for Youth athletes. The activities in the class will benefit any child seeking physical wellness. Improving upon skill level and discovering personal goals all Middle School ages are open to enroll. All skill levels welcome. Any specific goals can be discussed by contacting the instructor prior to each camp. Testing of the Vertical Jump and 20 yard start are completed at the beginning of each Phase, **except Phase 3, testing will be done the final week**.
Cost: $100/ camp or 25$/ visit
July 9-12 3:30pm-5pm
This camp will focus on the foundation from which the next phases will build upon. Bungee Training will be introduced as the foundation of proper rhythm in skips, marches, walks focusing on acceleration phase of sprinting. The introduction Plyometrics is also established, aka Jump training.
July 16-19 3:30pm-5pm
Camp will focus on building upon acceleration mechanics. Utilizing sleds, med balls and Bungee Training to enhance power. Focus on proper stride and landing mechanics. Small intro to Top End Speed Mechanics. Body Weight Exercises for development of Core.
July 23-26 3:30pm-5pm
Final phase of camps. Mastery of proper sprinting mechanics. Development of proper Stride Length, Tempo and endurance. Mastery of programs Plyometrics, Body-Weight exercises, Bungee Training. Testing is at the end of Phase 3**.
Must have 5 signed up by start date of each Phase for camp to be ran. Please inform friends, family about the Middle School Aged program. If Successful and July Program will be ran as well.
