Mindful Meditation

Anastasia Fitness will be hosting a 4-week training on Mindful Meditation led by Judy Angyalfy. Sessions start February 4th and run every Saturday in February 2:30-4:30. Space is limited. $50 for all sessions.

Judy Angyalfy is a retired nurse of 43 years and a certified yoga instructor. She became interested in mindful meditation as a healing path after the death of her beloved son in 2008. She experienced firsthand the transformative power of the practice and was both inspired and highly motivated to train to become a teacher. She trained through the University of Massachusetts Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society. She completed the training in October 2018 and is a qualified teacher of MBSR (Mindful Based Stress Reduction).

This is your opportunity to experience the time-honored practice of mindfulness meditation that has been used as a path toward peace for over 2500 years. Examine the philosophy and psychology in which it is rooted. There will be lectures, discussions, group sharing, and guided practice. This class is appropriate for beginners and anyone who would like to deepen an existing practice. Wear comfortable clothing and come as you are.
