I have been struggling with my weight my whole life, I have never been able to reach more than 115 pounds and I have always had a very low self esteem because of that. I always wanted to have a healthier body and not the body of a 10 year old girl. I have started diets numerous times and I have never been able to stick to it more than a couple of weeks. I never wanted to work out because it was embarrassing for me to come to the gym and work out in front of other people. Plus laziness and the fact that it is sometimes scary to get out of your comfort zone.Last year was a really rough one on me, I was living an incredibly unhealthy lifestyle. I ended up at the doctor's office last December weighing 89 pounds.I decided to make some changes, little by little. And then I saw the Challenge at the gym, and I joined that moment, The next day at 5: 30am I was at the gym waiting for my first class.Guys this 6 weeks have been so transformative and challenging for me. I feel like a new person, I have been eating well, working out at home, at the gym. Actually enjoying exercising and reading all I can about healthier choices.  Even my husband is so proud and happy. He has been telling me for over 3 years to work out and finally I'm doing it.I also weighed myself at the gym today and I am 106pounds. That is 25 pounds MORE than 10 months ago. For me this is amazing. I have not reached my goal yet and I know I have a long way to go but I am for the first time in my life working really hard to treat my body the way it deserves to be treated.I am super pumped to learn more about fitness, and I am looking forward to being a member of your community.  Thank you both so much for your time, for sharing your knowledge and for the patience.See you soon, Andrea

The Start Now Challenge is for you if you have never exercised with weights or forgot how to exercise safely. Now is a great time to learn.  We want participants who have felt intimidated or that they did not fit at a club.  This is a safe space to start and learn the skills of exercise with others facing the same challenge.  Together we can make the habit become a lifestyle.
