No Guessing - Know the direction and results of your efforts
We started using the InBody 570 this year as part of our onboarding of new members. You join a gym, typically with body change in mind. Add strength, lose fat, feel better, get energy or make friends are common goals. When it comes to losing fat, we used to look at the scale as a measure of results, when in fact the scale can be misleading and not offer the best measure of fat loss. This is why the InBody is so valuable because it eliminates the guesswork from your body composition change. You will know the water, lean body mass, and fat body mass and can track the changes.
For instance one of our clients recently did her monthly measurement and we noticed that her weight had not changed over the month. She had noticed this as well doing her daily weigh-ins. During these seven months, she has used our ThriveFit strength sessions 2x a week and made adjustments to her eating habits. So for the last month, with the scale not really moving, we appreciated the results that the InBody offered. While the scale didn’t change, her body has changed by adding 1.5 pounds of muscle and losing 1.5 lbs of fat.
