Podcast - Pissed off about Type II Diabetes, Obesity and Thyroidism

In this episode Kevin and Henry speak on a big question we feel that has gone unanswered for too long.

Who is held responsible in the (fitness/ wellness) industry to making a change?

Is it the Doctor, The Dietitian, the Nutritionist, The Agencies that approve practices to curing diseases and Syndromes?!

Typically with out providing a desired result or changing in the avoidance of disaster, you get fired or the profession is a hoax? In this psuedo rant, we want to know. What has been done over the past 30 years to help humanity understand how to cure these on set metabolic conditions?

Maximize your workout results

Whether or not you choose to eat before working out, make some wise foods choices after exercising. Protein is necessary to rebuild muscles, while carbs will re-stock glycogen, or energy stores, in your muscles. Eating within 15 to 30 minutes post-workout is ideal, but if this isn’t possible, aim for within 60 minutes.

It's best to have a plan for what you are going to eat post-workout and whole foods are best but sometimes a busy day gets away from us. When that happens, we've got you covered. Stop by the desk for a protein bar or a drink to sustain you. While you're in stock up on a protein powder to help power your recovery and maximize your results.
