The real payoff of a yoga practice, I came to see, is not a perfect handstand or a deeper forward bend—it is the newly born self that each day steps off the yoga mat and back into life.

Rolf Gates, Meditations From the Mat

Class Descriptions

  • Warm the body with breath and sun salutations. Move into a vinyasa flow with fun transitions designed to build balance, flexibility and strength.

  • Hatha yoga is practiced at a slower pace, with focus on the breath, controlled movements, and stretching. This classic yoga style incorporates asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises) to help bring peace to the mind and body in preparation for meditation. Simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement are practiced to promote flexibility. Also offered as Hatha Gentle Yoga.

  • Vinyasa Flow focuses on breath to movement through a designed sequence of postures. Sequences flow and create space for exploration way beyond the physical aspect of the yoga practice. The practice invokes a meditative experience without sitting in stillness.

  • Well rounded class suitable for all level practitioners. Exploration of asanas, yoga flow and using the breath. Expanding yogic awareness intelligently through the outer physical body and the subtle inner body. Focus on body mechanics through alignment details and modifications. Low to Moderate Intensity.

  • Pilates Core focuses on overall body strength, balance, coordination, and stability using a variety of tools such as sticks, barre and rings. In this class you will learn to initiate movement from the core out. The goal is to create body awareness and optimize the ability to engage in everyday activities such as sports, dance, swimming, walking, hiking etc. The movements correct posture and improve pelvic floor health.

  • Yin yoga can be done in a restorative, gentle or challenging way. Holding postures for a few minutes, rather than a few breaths, allows the muscles to come into a passive relaxed stretch, reshaping the myofascial and connective tissues of ligaments and tendons. Yin practice improves joint mobility, posture, breath, alignment and recovery from injury. Yin is a perfect recovery class for athletes, runners, strength trainers and those who practice highly physical yoga styles. It is suitable for all levels of students, from beginners to advanced.

  • Intense workout that targets the legs, arms and abs, using light weights, resistance bands and/or body weight. Using the principles of Pilates in this 45 minute Class, the practice will tick-up the heart rate in intervals throughout the practice. Different levels are offered to include light plyometrics. It’s total body, beginner friendly, never boring, and designed to sculpt, strengthen, increase flexibility, and be fun.

  • Step onto your mat with an extended sequence to stretch and create space in the body and mind. Flow into the seated portion to find stillness, create clarity, and release tension. You’ll leave centered, re-fueled, and ready to enjoy a productive day after you've refreshed your mind and re-energized your body!

  • Pilates Mat is a strengthening and lengthening form of exercises that focuses on your core muscles while also training the arms and legs. Based on the original exercises by Joseph Pilates, the goal is to strengthen the body’s “powerhouse” referring to the abdominals, lower back muscles, pelvic floor, hips and glutes. Pilates aids in improving posture and flexibility. All levels are welcome.

  • An exploratory yoga flow and alignment of the body using the breath and graceful movement. The movement prepares the body for the restore portion of the class. Transition into active and passive supported restorative postures to rest deeply and rejuvenate.

  • Active recovery through the use of yoga postures. Build strength and agility while reducing body aches and pains. Feel the confidence that your body is strong, loose, and coordinated enough to handle whatever you want to throw at it. Perfect for anyone needing an hour of restoration from the demands of surfing, running, lifting, and more.

  • Open to all, donation based. While each class is Vinyasa in spirit, we encourage our teachers to guide sequences that are true to themselves and tailored to the needs of our students.
