Yoga is Medicine
Preventative Medicine Through Yoga
Gita from the Healing Farm will lead class Thursdays at 11 am. She is trained as a Phoenix Rising yoga therapist and in the yogic teachings of Dean Ornish on heart and cancer recovery. Gita will be offering a gentler style of a hatha yoga practice. It is practiced at a slower pace, with less intense positions, and usually includes extended time for meditation, yogic breath work, and relaxation. This class uses simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement to promote flexibility. All levels are welcome.
