Coach Jackie

Jackie was introduced to the world of sports and training at the age of 5 when she began playing tennis. She and her older sister spent several summers training at Bollettieri Academy (IMG Academy) and Saddlebrook.  Most weekends were spent competing in the USTA Northern section; regularly ranking in the top to qualify for winter/summer national tournaments. The summer before 18, she received full scholarship offers from Division I colleges. She graduated from Gonzaga University (West Coast Conference) playing in the starting line up in both singles & doubles.  After college, she had the freedom to get creative with fitness and discover new training methods; such as hot yoga and Lagree Pilates.

However, one morning after a particularly challenging week of training, she woke up with a searing pain down the front of her hip. A couple of years filled with weekly dry needling. cupping, stretching, massage and strength training, the pain continued and she was forced to seize most of her physical routine. An MRA showed a Labral hip tear.  One cortisone shot proved to only make the area tighter therefore, enhancing poor movement patterns. Fearful to continue a routine, she set out to research on her own and for the first time, started to closely monitor every movement based on feedback from her body.

Jackie trains with one overarching mission – giving her students the tools to become the healthiest and strongest versions of themselves; all while building inner confidence in "today's" body.
